NEW UPDATE: After reading several post and such enormous information.. I thought I give it a shot... For those who are running add-ons/UI/mods... I disabled - 'Party Quest' (in Cosmos).. Viola!!! It stop clipping.... I would say that for those who are running mods of any type, it could be equally say that mod CAN cause issues with video clippings due to massive amount of 'pings' in attempt to retrieve information while playing.
I first used nVidia 7600 GT (PCI-e) then I swapped out and tried with the Radeon x800 XT (AGP) video card, its also displaying clipping, pausing 3 sec issues as well. I even unchecked LOD and still get clippings and such things..
Before we jump to such inconclusion to this: 1. I renamed config.wtf and auto-create new config.wtf (by WoW default) 2. I reinstall/update/removed all video driver (old/new driver) 3. I lowered/up'd the video setting in WoW Video Configuration 4. I lowered/up'd the video setting in Display Properties 5. I am not using nor SLi is enabled. 6. I removed/reinstall the Mods 7. I removed/reinstall WoW 8. Clear Cache/Temp Files 9. Speeddisk/Norton Doctor
What I CAN say is that prior the patch, i had ABSOLUTELY no problem with the game, with full setting and such things, the game ran SMOOTH. UNTIL the patch was released, it was unbearable with ALOT of video clipping, missing ground when going to places in Outland and Old Worlds.
I can safely say that it was the patch that is causing the video clipping and small other video issues. Below is an information that is on this system, don't know if it will be any help to the Developer or QA.
Maybe an suggestion that the QA/Developer do a code comparsion and see where they did wrong on the video part that could be mis-typed or modified in some way that is causing this issue. Im pretty sure it was overlooked in some way there.
