I was banned for 2 weeks for asking two questions in one post on the UI and macros forum.
The questions were:
Can addons send money through the mail system?
Can an addon change the variable SILVER_PER_GOLD.

silver_per_gold is client side and can be changed with a command. I don't have any experience writing addons so I was wondering if an addon could do that.

I was banned for "Posting about drugs or illegal activities".
I sent an email a while back and received no reply.
If there is something wrong I did I would appreciate at least knowing what it was.

Can you give me the name and realm of a character on the account in question so I can check it out?

His intentions were anything but good.

@the OP:

Your questions were directly geared towards making an addon with intent to deceive and essentially steal gold from other players, followed by adjusting the GOLD_PER_SILVER variable to make it seem like they had never lost anything.

You were warned that posting about such things was in fact a very bad idea, but you persisted. You were reported, and you were banned.

Take a hint. Don't try to write malicious addons, don't try to quite literally scam people out of gold. This never would have been a problem in the first place.

You are not as clever as you think.



Shorten that to "illegal activities" and apply it to the in-game world, and things make sense.
