Like I said in the original post, if you are still having issues with /castsequence macros not working in the latest build (7543) please post the macro and a full description of how it is working differently than it does on live realms.

If you can not provide this information then we can not investigate the issue any further.

Doesn't work like it did live. Causes your autoshot to to be interupted and restarts the autoshot timer ie if your character sheet says your bow shoots at 2.0 seconds it'll take 2.0 seconds to auto to go off. Example would be like this.

Time 0.0 Cast stead shot
Time 1.5 Steady finished casting
Time 1.55 Cast arcane shot
Time 1.6 Arcane shot casted
Time 1.65 Autoshot interupted Reset autoshot timer

Basically autoshot in a cast sequence maco makes the autoshot get interupted and you can't get an autoshot off. We used the macro before so we could get autoshot to go off right after a steady shot or arcane shot. Autoshot used to cast at 1.65-1.70. I'm being approximate on the seconds involved here. The bad and the good. The bad is spamming the macro don't work. The good is you don't need the macro any more. Increased dps without it.

For the fool that said i don't have a Hunter you are quite wrong. I have several L70 toons and i do play a 70 hunter


You say this is not working like it did in 2.2.3, how exactly is it different? I do not use /castsequence macros so please explain it as thoroughly as possible.

Right now, our Steady/Auto castsequence macro works just like it does live, except that if you do not hit the macro while Auto Shot is up, it will not progress the sequence past the Auto Shot. If you are mashing the button through the Auto Shot anyway, then this has no effect on you and it it will perform EXACTLY like it does live.

I have no idea where you get the idea that Auto Shots no longer need to be weaved, but it's completely not true and never has been.

Now, if you're seeing increased DPS by manually timing your shots, particularly on a 1.5 rotation, that is because /castsequence does NOT seem to benefit from the new feature that is bypassing lag. That means that you are experiencing some lag that makes it more beneficial for you to manually time things instead of letting the game wait for confimation from the server to do things. This is the same thing on live though. If you play through heavy lag, you greatly benefit from not using a castsequence macro.


This is exactly right in every particular. :)
