Right now, from what we've seen, the Fel Guard is nothing but yet another PvP pet. That makes 3 of our perma summon pets PvP pets.

What we need is a pet that can provide something to a raid while being able to survive as well. I don't want to spec 41 points into Demonology, only to have the raid tell me to pull out the Imp that I gained as my first summon at level 2 for a stam buff.

Please god, Blizz, make the Fel Guard give something to a raid so that I'm not forced to bring my damned Imp out. I'm a demonologist, I want to make use of my demons!

If this is just gonna be another strict PvP pet...looks like I'm going to spec affliction.

It's possible that the Fel Guard might have some useful tanking potential, however, we're still working out and tuning what he'll bring to the demonic table.
