And i can probably out-dps most of the ones that got to go instead of me I love moonkin but being able to CC inside with roots or something would let moonkins be accepted alot more. I get 50 tells a day to heal or tank.. when all i want to do is dps! by Eyonix | 18/06/2007 18:51:10 Well, I spent the entire weekend doing pick-up-groups as dps. I hit every level 70 dungeon multiple times, with the exception of Black Morass. To be honest, I didn't have any more trouble getting groups going than I did with my healing priest. This is probably due to the fact that I usually create the groups myself. Though I was invited to a few groups for purposes of dps. I think your concern may be a larger problem as I move towards heroic dungeons. I don't think my lack of indoor crowd control will be the problem, rather, the perception others hold that it's a problem may prove to be a stumbling stone for me from time to time. I've been creative enough with juggling cyclone, dps'ing and even off-healing as needed, and will continue to help the cause of improving the way players perceive the balance druid's role and potential. I'll know soon enough how things play out in heroic dungeons and raiding. Also, as an update to my moonkin, I'm one step away from having my kara key, more than three quarters towards revered with all heroic associated factions, my spell damage is now at 670, and I'm completely enjoying my class and talent spec. Making this character was probably the best decision I could've made for myself. Not in life, just the game. I swear! |
