I am rather sorry for placing your name in the title of this thread but I have yet to read a blue response about Earth Shield in 2.3.

I am sure you have read many concerns about Earth Shield, specifically the ability of a majority of classes being able to dispel it. My question to you is, are the developers even looking into this proposed "issue"? (quotes noting that it is not necessarily an issue but a major PvP inconvenience)

I am not flaming, nor asking for specific details on this topic, but rather at a light of hope at the possibility of a buff for the 41 point restoration talent.

P.S: Thank you for all your responses on these forums, and also for sharing the already wonderful buffs for the shaman class.

P.P.S: If I have failed to read or overlooked a thread on this topic someone please let me know. All responses appreciated.

We're certainly aware of the concerns, and beyond that feel that the earth shield is in need of some love. We're not sure this will happen in 2.3, and I'll do my best to keep you posted.

Anything is possible, just manage your expectations because improvements to earth shield may very not hit patch 2.3. :)

All jokes aside, thank you for your involvement. Even if it doesn't happen in 2.3 I'm fine with having my water breathing macro set up for arena so that it gets eaten/purged first!

EDIT: Eyonix I hope you are reading the other threads that have poped up about earthshield. There are some interesting thoughts and ideas floating around, some harder to find than others. I asked before, but didn't get a reply. Would you prefer those ideas be posted in this thread, or do you all have an idea of what you are going to do with ES already? Thanks in advance :)

Yeah, I've been reading them and they've been communicated to development. We're likely not going to change earthshield for patch 2.3. Right now we're interested in testing and properly balancing the changes we've already made.

There have been some cool ideas mentioned. :)
