The topic's question is directed at blizzard, but I am very open to discussing possible changes to the encounters to make them more of the intended difficulty (6 month vanilla wow onyxia).

I'm thinking a shattered every 3 minutes would make the encounter still not a cakewalk and require some coordination, but it would remove the "WTF 10 people landed directly on top of eachother" problem current Gruul faces.

As far as Magtheridon goes, I haven't done him yet.

Right now, the changes are planned for 2.1.0. We'd like to see the changes on the PTR before pushing them live.

2.1.0 is the next content update. There might be a 2..0.11 but that would be an emergency bug fix patch.
