Grounding totem should not be able to be "immune" over and over again to instant casts

Now if this is working as intended then ill be fine with it and work around it, ill use my GC 1.5 second wand or something.

If its not working as intended i would like to see a fix.

Essentially, the Grounding Totem destroys debuffs. Totems can't be debuffed. So when you cast Shadow Word: Pain, my grounding totem destroys it because it doesn't initially hit with damage. There is, effectively, no Shadow Word: Pain in existence due to my totem eating it.

This is our take on it. Damage over time will not tick off a totem, so it is eaten. Damage to destroy the totem should be direct damage.

Absorbing DoTs is regarded as not a bug and there don't appear to be any plans to change this.

Not seeing anything about this immediately. Is this a 2.1 issue or older than that?
