Error #132, really need help please!

by Dedra | 15/03/2007 09:07:42

Hey I recently started getting that infamous Error #132 error. Been working fine till now for some reason. I can get into the game and play for about 10 to 20 minutes or so, then it will either crash the game with the error, or Restart the computer all together on occasions. I've tried the repair utility, as well as the WTF, Interface, and Cache things with no results.

I was really wanting some extra ideas and hoping a blue could check out my error log and maybe spot something in there that could be messing it up. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me and helping me resolve this. Just getting really frustrating and everything. Heres the Error log that I get:

Dedra,

Q u o t e:
USBPORT.SYS

You want to make sure you have the latest motherboard or chipset drivers first. This website can help you identify your motherboard and chipset: http://www.playtool.com/pages/chipsetdrivers/chipset.html

The latest chipset drivers should be available on the system or motherboard manufacturer's website.

Q u o t e:
Logitech Cordless Desktop optical Black
Model Name: Y-RK49

Were you able to find the latest drivers on Logitech's site? You may have to contact them for assistance in finding and installing the right drivers.

Doomguard,

Q u o t e:
The instruction at "0x0067BF05" referenced memory at "0x00000054".

An Error 132 at 0x00000054 means that the game cannot start up 3D acceleration.
This may happen if:

A program is preventing the game from using Direct3D or OpenGL.
Test this by closing all background programs to see if the game will run.
http://www.blizzard.com/support/wow/?id=agi0558p

Hardware acceleration has been disabled. Test this by going into the Display
properties and then click on the Settings tab. Click Advanced, then Troubleshoot.
Make sure the acceleration bar is to the right.

Running mismatched DirectX files. To check this, run dxdiag and look at
the Files tab to see if any problems are noted.

# No video card drivers or wrong video card drivers installed. Look in the Display tab
and make sure that acceleration is enabled and that DDI version is 9 (or higher).
8 (or higher) and 7 (or higher) is not valid. If everything is blanked, please install your video card's drivers.

Dedra,

Q u o t e:
still getting the blue screen

Is the Blue Screen error the same as before? Is it still referring to the USB driver?

Q u o t e:
0x00400000 - 0x00D9E000 C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe
0x01510000 - 0x01517000 C:\Program Files\Logitech\MouseWare\System\LgWndHk.dll
0x10000000 - 0x10069000 C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\DivxDecoder.dll
0x12B70000 - 0x12B8E000 C:\Program Files\Common Files\Logitech\Scrolling\LgMsgHk.dll

0x15F20000 - 0x16038000 C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\dbghelp.dll

I would try uninstalling all Logitech software just to see if its related to this error.

Dedra, can you try lowing the Terrain Distance in Video Options?

I would also like to see what video card and drivers are installed. You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:

Click on Start
Click on Run
Type in: dxdiag
Hit Enter or OK

Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste the first half of the dxdiag file (up to and including the "System Devices" section) into a new post.
