well, since CMs also have the discretion to not post at all I just dont see why he would have spent the time interacting in that thread on the general forums, which effectively made things worse. Unless his higher-ups just plain didn't tell him of the impending change and told to go out on pacification duty (low blow if thats the case). It would be a pretty jacked up gag order that forced him to post in a volatile and unresolveable situation if a solution was incoming.
