Downloaded BC client...everything is gone

Harvinder

I just signed up for the 10-day free trial of Burning Crusade, but I couldn't seem to find a way to just download a patch or update to add it on to my current client (am I missing something?). I downloaded the Burning Crusade mac client, and it seems to have erased every file on my computer having to do with WOW, including my old client, and it didn't install the new BC client either. I'm currently redownloading it....anyone have any idea what happened or what I should do?

I'm running 10.5.8 on a Macbook Pro.

Hello Harvinder,

Just need a clarification of something:

You said that you downloaded the installer and after wards that the World of Warcraft game Æ’older was gone ?

Did the download try to install at any point ?

Also, are you using a wireless connection to download the installer ? I just can't think of how a download could delete data from your computer, unless the download was corrupted due to using the non-standard wireless 802.11n protocol that every Mac OS was using prior to Mac OS 10.6.2. But let me know please.

HAPPY 21 !!!
