So what's the scoop? Do Blizzard employees personally use the addon that's single handedly diminishing the WoW experience of newer players?

As in, do the Blues on this forum have the "GearScore" folder placed in their World of Warcraft folders?

I do use add-ons although very minimally and I've never said I don't use them ever. I have said that I have been able to play fine without them too and have disagreed with what some have felt were absolutely necessary. Again, that's via my own experiences and is what works for me. Others may have different perspectives.

Overall I use few mods so that my gaming experience isn't drastically changed when new patch comes out or I hop on the PTR. That said, I definitely use gearscore - BUT - I close to never bring it up in chat as that's not what I use it for.
