Disconnects?
by Arcturos | 15/04/2008 02:16:15 Hey, I posted earlier about my problem and got a reply to use apple+ (button next to apple key) + P + R to do a PRAM dump with two chimes to try and fix this connecting problem I have. I did this for the last two days and I am still getting authenticating for like 4 minutes then a disconnected from server message. Wow was connecting in like 5-10 seconds last week and for the year previous on this mac. any other suggestions on how to diagnose this problem? I use a powerbook. thanks. |

You might also want to test the connection with the Interface and WTF folders moved to your Desktop, just to eliminate any AddOn conflicts. Power-Cycling Procedure: 1. turn off your modem and router (if using one) - pull the power cords 2. wait 30 seconds 3. turn on your modem - put the power cord back in 4. wait 1 minute 5. turn on the router (if using one) - put the power cord back in 6. wait 1 minute 7. (re)start the computer 8. test World of Warcraft |
