I'd like to see what the WoW community as to say about the titans of the comic book industry.

Personaly, it's Marvel for me. Because of more characters with whom you can identify with, less confusing storylines and less supbar characters.

Although, I still like DC. Their universe seems to me a lot more farfetched but they have so many intriguing characters and character legacies are unmatched by anything Marvel can come up with. If anyone followed Infinite Crisis, they can relate to what I'm saying. But I think their major flaw is that they have so many b-list heroes/villains and minor characters that they try to reintroduce once in a while, it always come off unsettling to me. Plus every hero seems to have a teenage version which I think, is weird.

But I have to give DC something. Their Vertigo line of graphic novels can simply not be matched in terms of pure quality. I'm sure anyone who's read "Y: The Last Man" and liked it can agree with this previous statement.

"Y" was a great series. Then, of course, you have "The Sandman" which was one of the greatest series ever.

Then, wasn't the "Watchmen" published by DC? Any of Alan Moore's other stuff? "V for Vendetta?"

I grew up on Marvel and many of the characters I will always be fond of, but I've also just outlined some of the best comics ever fashioned; which fall on the DC-side of things.
