I have always been curious as to what the huge ruins of Auichindoun looked like, before Murmur was summoned and wasted Terrokar forrest. And just now, I had a thought of what if not only we could go back in time to see it, but be part in the summoning of Murmur, and watch how it was nuked.

The Caverns of Time really can lead to a nearly limitless number of places to explore. While the Stratholme instance is the only one currently planned for Wrath of the Lich King, we’ll have to wait and see what else the future… or the past, holds.

More info on the Caverns of Time Stratholme instance will be available as we get closer to launching Wrath of the Lich King… but yes, it is based on the Warcraft III level called “The Culling” and you will be fighting alongside the righteous and noble Paladin Prince Arthas Menethil. You don't get to call Arthas that much these days so I had to do it.
