Complaint on Blood-Lust

Hello Blizzard Entertainment, I am here to place a complaint on the spell called "Blood-Lust"

Do you understand that the word Lust means Wishing to have sexual activity with something? Do you understand what that means? That means that spell means "Hi I want to have sex with blood!" Which seems EXTREMELY profane, vulgar, and suggestive, Now this word seems to be a problem with the society today and I don't appreciate little kids going around learning these new words thinking that "Lust" means you just Want something.

Dictionary term of lust.

1. intense sexual desire or appetite.
2. uncontrolled or illicit sexual desire or appetite; lecherousness.
3. a passionate or overmastering desire or craving (usually fol. by for): a lust for power.
4. ardent enthusiasm; zest; relish: an enviable lust for life.
5. Obsolete.
a. pleasure or delight.
b. desire; inclination; wish.
–verb (used without object)
6. to have intense sexual desire.

Now, Blizzard My real complaint is, you ban us players for using profane terms, when fowl bastards report us for nonsense, and we are punished, but you tend to not know how to use a dictionary.
Failz Bowt.

This is a really, really poor argument. And you even discredited yourself in your own post.

If you take issue with our Harassment Policy you're more than welcome to state as much on our Suggestions Forum.

Q u o t e:
Not a poor argument in the least bit.

It just sounds different because certain definitions sound funny. However, they are still the definition, no matter which definition you choose.

All of his points were valid. Blizzard might not want to hear them, but that's what the word means.

I do agree that nobody will think of Bloodlust as being anything sexual, as it is used in todays society as a "want" for "lust." That is it.

I got a little smiley thinking how the first reply back was "this is a really bad argument."

Defensive it seems, eh?

This is like arguing that our use of the term "nether" is obscene. It's a non-issue. Words mean different things in different contexts.

And my reply wasn't defensive. It was accurate. :)
