Please, need advice and clarity: I see this forum as the most constructive and professionally moderated, and informational posts can get stickied very quickly when they are vital and helpful to the community, but for other forums, getting a sticky seems impossible, or random, even when extremely useful. For instance, I managed to get a priest macro collection stickied before the forums had their major overhaul, but now after posting another revised and updated version, it hasn't been given the honor of stickydum.

Would it be possible to find out what the rules and procedures are, and in particular, if there is a problem with the post? A macro collection for the mages got recognition, but even after getting quite a bit of support from the priest forum regulars, the priest collection goes ignored. If there is anything in the thread that is wrong or improper, I can pull and edit as needed.

Sorry for crossing over the line on Blue aimed posts, but I am confused by the inconsistencies between the forums and am asking for some direction from the source in the hopes that this effort (macro collection) is not in vain.

You may want to post your collection here, aimed at Cogwheel, and have him update the sticky with them.

You can request for a thread to be stickied by reporting the thread (using the biohazard symbol) and choosing "sticky request" from the drop down. Keep in mind that there may be reasons why we would not want to sticky specific information, but generally reasoning on our ruling isn't something we make public in the thread. If you find that after requesting a thread be made a sticky that it is still not being stickied, you may want to attempt to add your information to one of the existing guides.
