Character portrait has lines through it...

Since then I've noticed that my character portrait and my target's portrait have lines running vertical through it. I've tried every setting I can think of in game and I've ran the repair utility in the WoW folder. Everything else works fine and really it's just a cosmetic issue but I would like to resolve it none the less. Specs: Windows Vista Home Premium (64 bit) Processor 5.3 Memory 5.9 Graphics 5.9 Gaming Graphics 5.9 Primary Hard Disk 5.7 Those are my vista "index" scores. Hardware is: 2x Geforce 8800 GTS 2 gb corsair DDR2 5400 RAM AMD 64 X2 5600 Proc ASUS M2N32 SLI Vista Edition MB WD 74gb Raptor HD Thanks in advance. |
by Petermn | 10/04/2007 01:53:19 Greetings Skulletman, As a first step I would recommend renaming your WTF, Cache and Interface folders. I don't believe that this is the issue but it does help with many different kinds of interface weirdness so please try it to see if it helps. These folders will be recreated with default values the next time you run the game. Renaming them or moving them to the desktop makes it easy to replace them if necessary. The problem may be the video card itself, have you noticed any other problems in any other games? Failing or overheating chips on video cards can cause graphical anomalies as well. |
