Can not log back into my realm
by Ukla | 04/04/2008 08:49:26 I am on the server Lightbringer (US) and the world sever went down and now i can not log back into my server ?? You know how when you get to the log in screen your realm is in the lower right corner? my realm is there but i still can not log on ? i do not know what is going on if anyone can help that would be sweet...and thank you |
by Radoslawn | 18/04/2008 03:10:29 Hello Ukla, Since the realm went down your Mac might not have disconnected completely from the server. (residual data is looping in your internet connection). Try the following and let me know if you can log in. 1. go to the Apple Menu 2. select System Preferences 3. choose Network 4. show drop down menu to Built-in Ethernet or what specific connection you set up (Advanced in Mac OS 10.5) 5. make a mental note of the last set on numbers in your IP address (xxx.xxx.xxx.XXX) 6. click on the Renew DHCP Lease button 7. if the new number is different than the one in step 5, it usually means that that IP is cluttered. 8. test the game |
