Can I transfer my wow folder to a new mac???

soo I currently run wow on my 21in first gen alu imac. tomorrow I am buying the high end 21.5 inch imac. this is a pretty large upgrade in every way. I AM EXCITED =)

not I know that installing a fresh copy of wow doesn't take that long with up to date disks but transferring the files with an external would be way way way faster.

is this a viable option to install wow?

The fastest method is firewire transfer the World of Warcraft Æ’older from one Mac to the new one.*** Also you can safely delete any patch files, so the ones starting with WoW-# and ending with either -downloader.app or -patch.app
