No cake can ever beat a warm blackberry pie.

ever tried pumpkin.. um.. what part of the pumpkin do they make into pie?

It's not made from the orange halloween-type pumpkins, so don't try, but it's like cooking any type of squash. You steam it generally, and then sc%#%! out the insides. That's pureed and eggs/spices/cream/whathaveyou are added.

I just buy the premade stuff they sell in a can. If you ever try to make it yourself it always tastes a bit odd.

Just for clarification, cheesecake = cake, ice cream cake = cake.

Any other interpretation of these food products is wrong.

Bornakk, Cheesecake is technically NOT a cake, but a cream cheese pie. You lose.

Let me know when people stop calling it cheeseCAKE and only refer to it as cream cheese pie or cheesepie. :-)
