[BUG] Pet Talent - Heart of the Pheonix
by Victus | 22/08/2008 05:07:21 The cool down to this ability is triggered upon summoning the pet. This includes but may not be limited to dismounting, zoning, resurrection/ revival. As for accepting a player or meeting stone summons while dismounted, it seems to not trigger upon loading thus far. It is also triggering a 10 minute cool down rather then the new 7 minute cool down. In addition, the cool down does not continue to run while logged off and will have the same duration remaining upon log on. This makes the talent undesirable as it's literally near useless. To meet the circumstances of having your pet out consistently for ten or even seven minutes almost exclusively means to be running an instance. |
by Ghostcrawler | 22/08/2008 10:26:34 Unfortunately this is a limitation of the talent. Hunter pets reset all their cooldowns when they are summoned. So without this up-front cooldown, you could use the ability instantly every time the pet died, because death resets the cooldown. Originally, we had this talent as an automatic, but that was less useful. |
