Losing your tail quest is bugged, the NPC who is supposed to drop a trap does not appear, nor does a trap spawn, despite myself and numerous others wandering up and down the road all at varying speeds, including using the racial sprint, the normal walk speed, and using the keybind that forces your character to walk slowly.

We’re adding a temporary workaround for this issue. Please try to complete this quest normally first, by triggering the trap on the road (and submit a bug report if this breaks as you’re doing it). If no trap spawns, you can now complete your quest further east on the road, where a permanent dark scout will respawn every 30 seconds without need of a trap until a more permanent fix is implemented.

This fix will be active once the servers are restarted.
