[BUG] Assassination Rogues
by Oromis | 29/05/2007 05:51:52 As an assassination rogue I am specced for Remorseless Attacks 2/2, Seal Fate 5/5 and Mutilate 1/1. There is a problem with each of these three talents. Remorseless Attacks 2/2 "After killing an opponent that yields experience or honor, gives you a 40% increased critical strike chance on your next Sinister Strike, Hemorrhage, Backstab, Mutilate, Ambush, or Ghostly Strike. Lasts 20 sec." There is no X%chance that this will happen so it is assumed that it is 100% chance. I am not sure if it is a bug, but you only get the Remorseless Attacks buff if you have the killing blow on your opponent. If this is not a bug, it should specify that you need the killing blow. Seal Fate 5/5 "Your critical strikes from abilities that add combo points have a 100% chance to add an additional combo point." Mutilate 1/1 (Rank 4) Instantly attacks with both weapons for an additional 101 with each weapon. Damage is increased by 50% against Poisoned targets. Must be behind the target. Awards 2 combo points. Now in theory having these 2 talents, when you use Mutilate and both weapons crit you should gain a total of four combo points (2 from mutilate and 2 additional because each attack gives 1 combo point). by Hortus | 05/06/2007 04:51:37 Hi Oromis, Both of these abilities are working correctly. Remorseless attacks only works when you get the killing blow. Seal Fate can only grant one extra combo point on Mutilate crits. |
