[Bug] Akil'Zon
by Rotworth | 09/01/2008 04:26:37 My guild ran Zul'aman tonight and encountered a couple problems with Akil'Zon (Eagle Boss) that we have never seen before. We wiped during our first attempt while he was doing his Electrical Storm. We had someone pop and rez us to try again. Before we started the 2nd attempt we noticed that the rain, which usually indicates an electrical storm will arrive soon, was still going on. We started the attempt anyways and as a result had little indication other than boss mods(which cannot perfectly time the event) as to when the storm would come. This resulted in a wipe. Our 3rd attempt there were no bugs whatsoever. We just wiped on our own. Our 4th attempt the rain came in, indicating that an electrical storm would appear soon. We all moved together in preparation, but the storm never came, we sat around wondering what was going on, taking numerous hits from his static discharge (his chain lightning type attack). Around the time the electrical storm should have ended it spawned resulting in another wipe. We called it after that. Between the 3rd and 4th attempts we had the trolls respawn and had to clear the gauntlet again. Since we were at Akil'Zon already we killed the tempest first. His troll spawns from below pulled the whole gauntlet and killed us. We respawned and ran the gauntlet back to Akil'Zon which was fairly quick since the tempest was dead and couldn't spawn the 2 trolls below or the eagles above. I'm just adding this in case its pertinent. |
