BUG: Adversarial Blood
by Gsiszuule | 25/05/2007 11:41:27 After spending 4 or so hours fending off horde and trying to gather all the items to do this quest, me and my party of three decided to take on the Huntress... After killing it, we then had to ROLL need / greed for the quest item. After submitting a ticket and waiting more than an hour for the GM to get to me, i was informed " this is not how the dev's intended it " by the GM, then was told that i could try to do it again, or wait until the dev's fix it... if they fix it... so... basicly, i just wasted half the day doing a quest that only one person in the group could get the item. and the GM can't just give the rest of us the item???? you're talking about gathering 6 shadow dust per person, then getting the shadow potion, then gathering as many of the 40 needed time-lost scrolls PER PERSON, then you have to kill teh elites while hoping you don't get killed by the horde.... and what do you get??? 9g and a jar of mayonaise?? Now, i realize i'll be flamed as that's what alot of people do on here, call people crybabies and the likes. but unlike alot of people, i'm part of a small guild, we are a bunch of friends not some huge group of super-wow players. this is a very very difficult quest hen you have a small group, and that's a LOT of time effort, and gold in repair bills. i would think since the GM (OGCELL) himself told me the DEV's didn't mean this to be like that. that he would atleaste give me the quest item that i had earned. Not tell me to do it again, and if you don't like it too bad.. and essentially, that's what he said. so yea... there's a bug with this quest. |
by Hortus | 01/06/2007 07:34:14 Hi Gsiszuule, I have confirmed the this is in fact the intended functionality of this quest. I don't know where the GM got his information but it was incorrect. |
