by Darrkness | 09/05/2007 09:18:07 Recently after a HKM kill the loot was on grp everybody passed...I had died was afk watching TV...while wearing my headphone I hear my raid start yelling at me I look to my dismay to see that apparently without any warning or human intervention both items were needed with no "confirmation" window. I sent in a ticket and the GMs were insanely rude and would give me no help beside saying BoP is BoP over and over again. I know this is an issue and I know it has been fixed with a GMs help b/c in our early Karazhan days the same thing happened to a different person and loot was distributed. It appears as though you've spoken with at least three different Game Masters now regarding this issue, all of whom gave you correct answers according to our procedure for addressing mis-looted Bind-on-Pickup items. At least two of them directed you to our Suggestions forum in order to encourage you to propose new policies for assisting with these sort of cases. At least one of them told you to reset your User Interface. You may have noticed in this thread it's a common theme, as the chances of two separate confirmation windows simply failing and auto-assigning the loot to one Raid member are negligible. You keep reiterating strongly that you do not use addons in order to support your case that something went wrong with the game. Our records indicate you were sending out "Damage Meters" via the Raid chat right before the loot issue took place. Unfortunately, we are unable to redistribute Bind-on-Pickup items in the manner you're requesting, Darrkness, as we feel there are sufficient safeguards in place in the game to prevent any game-related loot errors, while also limiting the chances for player error. This policy has not changed since the Burning Crusade came out. I am sorry for being unable to further assist you and your Raid. |
