Blizzard's unbelievable escape
by Steelknight | 03/02/2009 19:20:53![]() This is how i see this playing out one day. All of us who hover over the forums everyday, actually only post to pass the time till the next patch notes. One day a huge mob will descend upon the blizzard company. Pitchforks, torches, and QQ signs will be passed around. Then out of one of the window..... Ghostcrawler will appear and say.. "We just posted some rather large changes that might be in the next release. all classes have been addressed." The mob that assembled will now resemble cockroaches when the light is flipped on in the kitchen as they scramble back home to view and post. lol Thought came to me and i thought it was amusing lol anyone else have thougths like this? If you're a Arms Warrior, please select one of the following: [ ] Reroll DK [ ] Reroll Pally [ ] Play PvE Fury [ ] Quit game |
by Ghostcrawler | 03/02/2009 21:13:33![]() I love my job. :) I take players who post ridiculous things with a grain of salt. They are only passionate because they love the game, and they are only rude because the Internet culture fosters that behavior. |

Take a look at a crab. Nearly all of them have one big claw (the crusher) and one smaller claw (the slicer). This oceanographic moment has been brought to you by Blizzard Entertainment.
Sorry, but you aren’t going to convince us that something in the game so outages you that you are no longer responsible for your actions and have earned the right to say anything you want. If I insulted our programmers in the manner some posters used, I would be fired and possibly arrested. If you want me to listen to your feedback, you need to put down the rage. I don’t mind negative feedback. I’m not going to listen to anti-social feedback.
If I felt that way, I wouldn’t be out here.
We considered a using a double on more than one occasion. :)
My number one rule is just to try and treat players with respect. That doesn’t mean I will agree with them all of the time, but I can give them a chance to argue their point of view. For every violently hostile forum post I’ve read, I have met a player (usually in real life) who just wants to talk about why they love their character. That makes it all worthwhile. :) |
