Blizzard's crap
by Ovrpwered | 05/05/2010 22:46:17![]() So yesterday a friend of mine was suspended due to blizzards bullcrap. They suspended him due to explotation. His offense was farming frostweave cloth. He had so many kills on his druid in an hour that he was suspended. He was not botting, he wasn't having someone else farm for him, he was not buying/selling gold for real life cash. His offense was simply farming for cloth. He and I both spoke to blizzard last night via three way calling. I heard everything that was told to him. This is <removed>. The botters and or gold farmers can do anything they want to do. I myself have turned in at least 5 botters in the last week. And instead of being rewarded for that we've been punished. I know he wasn't botting because I and another character were there with him while he was farming. God only knows our accounts may be next. We pay to play a game that we can't even go kill monsters for fear of being suspended or banned. Hey blizzard here's an idea. Instead of running a program that compares kills per hour. Why don't you have a gm online when someone reports botting you can go your lazy butts out there to see if they are botting. Seriously the game is getting stupid anyway. Why the hell would we continue to pay 15 a month for something that keeps being made less fun by blizzard's stupidity? [ Post edited by Malkorix ] |

First, profanity of any kind, masked or otherwise, is prohibited on the World of Warcraft forums. Please refrain from any further profanity while posting. I sounds like there might be some confusion here. There is nothing in any message we send to an account that has been suspended which provides that kind of detail you describe, and we are not in the habit of suspending our players for legitimate activities - thus you may not have an accurate picture of this situation. I'd be happy to look into this further and provide what I can in the way of insight - but given that this is another player's account, there is little that I can reveal publicly. I should be able to provide some guidance regarding your friend's next step though. Do you have the name and realm of a character on the affected account? That should give me the tools I need to investigate further. [ Post edited by Malkorix ] “No snowflake in an avalanche ever feels responsible.” - Voltaire |
