Blizzard: Save a Life

Mörrigan

My brother deleted my characters. I only really care about my level 80 warlock main, and level 45 priest and 6 druid (with heirloom gear). I normally log out of my Windows account after playing but after last night's ICC 25 I passed out with it open. The little brat thought it would be hilarious to type delete over and over again after logging in to my account (remember password never again!). Maybe he doesn't understand how much time goes into characters... but no matter what the reason, I need you to help me reinstate these characters so I don't kill him... please help! You should easily see on these characters that nothing was traded or moved to anyone else before the delete. He said he only deleted them and didn't give away anything in game.

Character names: 80 Warlock Mörrigan (alt code 0246); 45 Priest Bennua; 6 Druid Gwynevir

Good idea. I def think part of it is just not understanding the difference between WoW and Bejeweled. :P

There is a small difference, yes.

What the other posters in this thread have stated is correct though - if you've submitted an in-game petition detailing the name and realm of the deleted characters, then our staff should be able to lend a hand (though no restoration is guaranteed, per se).

(remember password never again!)

This is also a good lesson in how risky it can be to leave one's account logged in or accessible and unattended. It's probably a good idea to log out if you're going to be away at all - especially if there are others around who might access your account.
