by Datth | 19/10/2009 23:48:45![]() Hi Ishikewa, We sometimes get false positives from some antivirus programs. Did this just happen today after you updated your antivirus definitions? Luckily this file isn't needed for the game itself but the patches tend to need it. Tech Support How did I do? https://www.surveymk.com/s.aspx?sm=lfO7GX4hyFtZ1WJ5pB7JhQ_3d_3d |
by Datth | 20/10/2009 00:01:53![]() It's not showing up on Virustotal with Kaspersky definition 7.0.0.125. Have you checked the file to see if it's legitimate? Try downloading a program called HashTab (http://beeblebrox.org) and check the BackgroundDownloader file itself. Its MD5 checksum should be 6C2CC93D435FFA91DE9DA99D0293AA58 (Obligatory reminder - some of the sites I linked are third party sites and not affiliated with the company.
