Hey there.

So I recently had trouble with these black particles that are in a group that move across the screen when I walk.

There is one that stays horizontal always, and is in 3 clumps.
There is one the moves up and down the screen, while scrolling sideways depending if I walk forward or backwards.

I messed with different graphic settings to try and fix it, disabling screen glow, things like that.

The weird thing about them is that if I am INSIDE a house or a dungeon with a roof or whatever, they disappear completely. It is only when the sky is in view that they appear.

I also messed with the "how far you can see" graphic setting but that didn't help.

And ideas please?

Version 10.6.3
Processor: 2GHz intel core 2 Due
Memory: 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

And I have Snow Leopard.

I don't know really any technical terms for the computer, but I can figure things out if you have text commands and stuff.

Also if you need any more information I can get it.

Make sure your toon bathes, I think you are seeing flies. j/k

Do me a favor and when not running the game go to the Apple menu => Software Update and run all the updates. Also go into your World of Warcraft Æ’older and delete the Cache file. And let me know what happens.

The three Æ’olders you can always delete to troubleshoot issue are the:

Cache Æ’older (store old temp files)
WTF Æ’older (stores settings for toons and AddOns)
Interface Æ’older (stores both Blizzard and 4rd party AddOns

All three will come back once you log into the game in a clean or default manner.

Go ahead and remove all three Æ’olders, and let's see if the black particles come back.
