Battleground Participation question

(Note this is not something I condone in any way)

Having an ongoing discussion with several people, someone brought up that they have chosen to actively "sabotage" their Alterac Valley groups by attempting to suicide as often as possible so as to cause their own side to lose faster, not attempting to actually kill their enemies, just constantly throwing themselves at the nearest opponents to die as quickly as possible. I know this kind of behavior would be difficult to prove, but would doing so fall under the battleground non-participation rules?

My own logic says it would, but there is a bit of arguing that others seem to believe it would not since they are actually at the keyboard the entire time.
