OK so i had an alt that was a guild master, just for 3 or 4 friends, our mains was on the same server, and we switched them over, i haven't played them for like 6 months and i decided to bring my alt to my mains server, and when i did i brought all the mats me and my few friends farmed while leveling, I'm posting them all up now on the AH, and its ALOT of stuff, can this cause me to get banned? A buddy told me it could do to fluctuating the wow economy, and i just cant believe its true. thnx

Not true at all.

Legitimate use of the AH with legitimately gained goods is fine, and it's a free market :)
