Am I wrong or is Blizz?
by Zalanni | 25/06/2009 17:49:52![]() About 4 months ago i moved my Rogue - Cmurder - to Ravenholdt. Its an RPPvP server but I came from a PVP server where the restrictions on naming policies are slim and none. Well i knew my name was against the ToS but when I payed for the transfer i figured they would make me change it. I would have been perfectly fine with it. But now 4 months later, no blackmarks or any kind of misbehvior on the account someone reported my name for NoNRP. Blizzard's action was a forced random name change that i did not get to pick and a suspension. So i feel as if im being punished for something they missed or didnt care about at the time. Theyre supposed to review the toon thoroughly before a tansfer so if they didnt catch it why should i be punished? So, am I wrong or is Blizz? Any comments politly accepted. Thank you. |

The same filter/checks that are in place for character (name) creation are in place for a transfer. That's why we have game master who look into reports of inappropriate names and take action should a violation be found. "Theyre supposed to review the toon thoroughly before a tansfer so if they didnt catch it why should i be punished?" You were punished due to violating the rules we've put in place, which in this case, by your own admission wasn't an accident based on...
