Ahh, ridiculous strikes again.

As you know in my recent thread, im trying to RAF myself. I called Billing, and they said that in addition to the 2 time cards i bought (one for my account, the other for the raf account), i needed to buy another copy of WoW. So i did just that. I come home, and go to upgrade the second account (that had a 70 day trial on it that i accidentally upgraded with time). It upgrades to regular WoW, and tells me i need to pay for the subscription. I entered the card, and it says its already in use. WTF, billing said that when i upgrade the account, the card will kick in automatically. Im not spending another $30 dollars for another time card, as ive already spent over $100 dollars for RAF.

Naw, you can play without BC and WotLK.

You just won't be able to level past 60, have JC as a profession, play a Blood Elf or Draenei, or play a DK.

But you can absolutely play without BC or WotLK.

Correct!

Ya see, i already made the RAF account, and put time on it. When i did that, it added 60 days onto the Free Trial. According to Billing and Account services, when i enter the World of Warcraft game code from the box, the card should automatically kick in, and i should be set. That never happened.

Okay, so let's see if I have this straight.

You created a Recruit A Friend trial account. Then, you applied 60 days of paid time to it (it should only be possible to apply time to a fully upgraded account), then you upgraded the account? It sounds to me like there might have been a miscommunication somewhere.

Are you certain that the Pre-Paid Game Cards were not accidentally applied to your main account?

I went back to Battle.net home, and apparently its working? Idk how, but now how to i get the rewards and experience, if the RAF account is under my main? When i log in, it asks which account i wanna go on. From what i understand, RAF only works if the other player is near you and within 4 levels of you.

Indeed, it appears as though everything is working as it should. You can log into both accounts - simply select the other account when you log in the second time.

Okay, i am speaking with Billing again, and they're going to split the two accounts for me so that i can log into both. Thanks for your help, i really appreciate it.

That shouldn't be necessary, by the way. You should be able to log into all accounts merged into the same Battle.net account simultaneously.

I called Billing a while ago, and you answered with your last post right as i got off of hold (haha, coincidence?). Thats the only reason why the 2 accounts were split. He gave me that solution, so i took it. It kinda makes me mad that i was fine the whole time, just a whole lot of confusion since 11:00am EST. But, now that everything is good, im happy.

I'm just glad that everything is squared away, and you can get back to enjoying World of Warcraft! =)
