Achievement Rollbacks

First of all I'm aware that achievements were reset. What I explain below is something that has happened since that occurred.

So since I've reached 79 and have run out of quests to level, I tend to sit around fishing while waiting for instance invites. I've done a fair amount of fishing and have worked my fishing up to 413. Along the way I've been getting the fishing achievements. Even went to the bother to sneak my way into SSC and fish up Lurker.

However, I have noticed that the number of fish achievement has lowered on several occasions. While working for the 250 Fish achievement I remember noticing I was at 123 fish caught. Server crash quite a while later and I was back around that number again despite knowing I caught many more than that.

I logged out last night somewhere arouond 300/500 towards the 500 Fish achievement to log back in this morning with 261/500.

These progressive achievements seem to work like so: You get 50 Fish. Then 100 is the new achievement but you've already got 50/100. I've also noticed at times I'll be at X/Y where the X is less than the previous achievement that it shows I'm gaining.

Now I think all of us beta testers are used to rollbacks. However, all the rollbacks ever seem to impact is my location. If I'd finished a quest and then the server dies and I log back on to find myself somewhere I was 30 minutes ago, the quest is always done still. However, it looks to me like the statistics that are kept for the Achievements are being rolled back some on these server crashes.

I don't know if this is intentional. But if you have server issues on live people are going to be very grumpy about losing progress towards achievements.
