Account Recovery Delays

Last Wed night or early thurs morning my brothers account was closed because blizzard wfelt the security had been comprimised. He went through all of the recovery steps (cleaned computer faxed blizz ect.) and waited to get his account back. After 2 days of nothing he asked me to post on here to see if there was any known delays going on at the account admins only to find out that on the fax he mis wrote what he wanted for a new email (could not remember the registered adress) He then resent a new fax with a correct email on Saturday. He is simply wondering if anyone knows if the account admins are backed up because of the holiday weekend or if he should resend the fax again? Thanks in advance for any help. |

Account Admin is quite busy Joeyy, but they are working through submissions just as quickly as possible. As a good rule of thumb, if you haven't heard back from a fax within 48 hours, doesn't hurt at all to drop them a quick email verifying receipt. There are occasions they come in so illegible they cannot be matched to an account. Thanks in advance for any help. [ Post edited by Orlyia ] Character is doing the right thing when nobody's looking.
