Hey guys, so I have finally given into the poison, and bought World of Warcraft Buring Crusade. My question is: do I need an account that was made on non-expansion Warcraft? Bacause when I try to make an account, it tells me "Can not use Burning Crusade key here ". Please tell me I don't have to go out and buy the first version of the game and make an account that way.

The expansion is not a stand-alone client, Solus; in order to access the features and content specific to The Burning Crusade, the software must be downloaded and the key applied to an existing account.
