A Problem I Can't Figure Out...
by Amavrani | 29/03/2010 19:31:24![]() If anyone can help me out on this I'd very much appreciate it. I looked at other posts here on the forums and can't seem to find any suggested solutions that will help me and I have tried quite a few of them. Nothing is working. I'm pretty sure it's a problem with the patch as far as I can tell (I'm no techno-genius). Ok, so here's what's going on. I tried to log into the game on Friday and the patch stopped at 70% and I got a message that suggested uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I tried that and it took me about 7 or 8 tries before I could get the game to reinstall properly. Then I tried logging in again and it seemed to be working. It installed several different patches (more than once) and I was able to log in and even play the game. I played yesterday without any problems. But when I tried to log in today I got another patch (or probably the same patch) trying to install. It got to about 70% (again) and this error popped up: PATCH ABORTED: This update requires "WoW.exe" version 3.3.3.11685. You have an older version, 3.3.2.11403. I don't know what this means and can't find a solution to this problem. If there is one out there please help! |
