Hi, I got hacked a little while ago. I was able to regain control of my account and bought an authenticator.

The hacker apparently had an authenticator but possibly didn't apply it to my account since I was able to log in. However, I did find a core hound pup in one of my lower toon's mailbox.

Also, the hacker signed up for a 10 day trial account that I never signed up for.

I received a response from GMs, and waiting patiently for my items to be restored. I recently received my authenticator though. Would it be fine to apply it now although my stuff hasn't been restored/investigation hasn't been completed?

You can feel free to apply your own Authenticator now that you've received it, and I applaud your decision to add an additional layer of security to your account. I also wish you luck on a swift resolution and recovery.
