5000g scammed/stolen from me and GM wont help

Braman

A player scammed 5000g from me on July 25 and nothing has been done to help take the gold back from the thief. Meanwhile they have done many things such as:
- ignored me
- pretended to not know who I am
- insulted me based on my sexual preferences
- falsely accused me of various offences
- blackmailed me
and more

In short, they claimed they were going to farm items for me and return all the gold to me along with items farmed. Not a thing has been returned to me and the aforementioned harassment the other player has assaulted me with suggests they do not intend to return any of the stolen gold.

Specialists say they cannot confirm the scam but it is very clear to me and most everyone who views this that a scam took place as I was deceived into thinking they were going to do something that they didnt as they took my gold. It is also worth noting they gave me their account info and changed it when the gold was in their account.

I have sent in multiple petitions to GMs and they wont help.

Can I ask what you mean by this?

There's more to the story than what the OP is saying, and I'm afraid there's not much more that I can say here beyond what the Game Masters he's spoken with have already said.

One other possibility, the OP owns both accounts.

That's not the case, and why was it necessary to bump the thread? :p

I am replying to this post to tell everyone the issue was resolved after calling Blizzard and sending in a 7 page email detailing the situation. The gold is back in my account although Blizzard can't discuss what happened to the other player. I am very thankful.

This is great news, Braman. I'm glad that everything worked out.
