31 Point First Impressions?

I've only been playing around with the 31 point talent trees for about a half hour now, not so much time as to get a real accurate feel of them, but my first impressions of the trees seems to be doubtful and disappointing. As an end-game PVE raider, II was hoping that the changes would enable me to spend more points on fun talents rather than just talents that i *had* to have to increase my DPS. But I still feel very railroaded with the talents in the fury tree, my chosen specialization.

It feels as if I am stuck with the same forced choices, but in this case I just have fewer points to spend. It has some innate feel of just being less cool some how. I think, perhaps, that some of this is due to some of my favorite damage production talents (Impale, for instance) have been removed or changed so as to make them much less favorable. Maybe I am just feeling as if I was hit by the nerf hammer.

Although I will miss talents like Cruelty, I am also glad that they are gone - Blizzard was right in that these talents are not fun or impressive, merely sinks for your talent points, and I think that the trees could be done very nicely with just 31 talent points. But perhaps more utility needs to be added in instead of just trimming talents that produce damage. My favorite thing about the warrior - and in fact the mechanic that has kept me playing - was the zoom factor that charge, intercept and intervene give, and I would love to see more mobility talents in my tree.

Does anyone else feel the same way? Or are there many out there who are more hopeful and pleased with the leaner talent trees? What are other people's first impressions of the new talent trees?

First impressions are great and all, but what we need is specific constructive feedback on what you needs changed or tweaked still. We'll be paying close attention since this is the first you all have had the chance to really take a look at the changes and not just hear about them.

*Just to also add, posting specific class feedback in the Class forum, would be better than posting in General as well.
