My concern over this was during the time of the discussion, we were discussing politics. My comment seen above was taking out of context and that isn't even my complete quote. My complete quote read "Hitler had a good vision, however, the way he went about it was horrible." For any History buffs out there, it's pretty common knowledge Hitler is regarded as a genius and his visions were revolutionarly. Of course, he went a bout it in a HORRIBLE and INHUMANE way, however in the context of the debate my point was very valid. It supported my point, which was - "Vision and plans are only half the battle, execution in a civil and humane way is the other half." We were discussing things such as the War in Iraq, and civilian deaths and ect..As well, I hardly think this breeds any type of hatred, I never mentioned anything derogratory to the Judiasm religion or the Jewish people. I think a 48 hr ban over this is blown way out of porpotion and would hope someone would investigate this as soon as possible, as I had a schedule raid and had planned arenas in the 5v5 bracket with a few buddies, and we only play once a week.

I'd also like to note, I see your need to stem derogratory and hateful comments and perhaps this just seemed like a clearcut 2 day ban and it wasn't thoroughly investigated. I can understand that as you deal with 10 million customers, however, I hope this issue can get corrected in a timely matter.

Well, Shunem, I've taken the time to look into this matter, and I must confess that there are a couple discrepancies between your testimony and what I see in our logs of the conversation. Perhaps you can clear up a couple things for me, as you've so vehemently defended yourself thus far. :)

It's curious, but I don't see any discussion regarding war in Iraq in the Trade channel at the time your statement was made; instead, someone commented that they received a temporary suspension for a guild name that contained a reference to Germany at the time that it was led by the destructive political party of which Hitler was the head. From there, it seems that figure — mostly the propriety of his name, but also the ideals he held — became the topic of conversation. You contributed by saying the line quoted in the e-mail you received, and didn't elaborate further.

I'm also not certain why you believe you qualified your statement with "however, the way he went about it was horrible," because that wasn't part of what you said; I do see that you agreed with another member of the Trade channel who was part of the discussion, but a disembodied "Yea" doesn't corroborate your previous utterance quite as well as you seem to believe. Note that I'm not suggesting that your intent was necessarily to perpetuate bigotry or tacitly support genocide, but an unqualified statement such as yours in a public channel can be quite easily misinterpreted.
