11pt talents and PvP

At the moment, it feels like hunters are becomming expected to pick up all three of their 11 point talents in a pvp setting. For anti snares, we have Master's Call in BM, for a healing debuff to augment our damage to help us finish off targets, we have Aimed Shot. For anti focus fire, we have Deterrence.

This puts us in a position where none of the 51 point talents are obtainable while still picking up these talents that, by design and hunter's current set up, look like they are part of the intended fixes for the class in PvP.

Going 51 points into any tree drops the ability to pick up one of these 51 point talents. For a marks spec, the choice is between Master's Call and Deterrence, for survival the choice between aimed shot or master's call, for BM the choice is between aimed shot or deterrence. I am not the beacon of PvP knowledge, so I will leave the final say up to more knowledgeable people in the subject than myself, but to me, it appears that Deterrence, although vastly improved, is lining up to be the 11 pointer that is neglected. I feel this is mainly because hunters have been dealing without an anti focus fire ability for a while now, using either the beast within or scatter shot with the other class abilities (usually backed up by another class' ability to keep things off the hunter).

Then there is also the possibility that players will decide that the 51 point talent isn't worth it in comparison to Scatter Shot in a PvP setting, which is another possibility.

Basically, what I am trying to say is that too much of what a hunter needs to be able to do in PvP is linked entirely to their talents; specifically their 11 point talents. Considering the fact that mages have gotten Ice Block made trainable, and rogues have had Cloak of Shadows made into a trainable skill, I do not think that it should be out of the question that one of the three 11 point hunter talents be made trainable.

EDIT: Also, for a BM or Survivial hunter to choose the to go with deterrence/master's call, they are also giving up 6% crit damage, which is a fairly noticeably loss for the defencive gain. Marks is the only tree that can pick up a 51 pt talent without a potential loss in Mortal Shots when deciding upon a 11 pt talent.

We'll be making Master's Call and Deterrence both base.
