You have used up your prepaid time error

Hello when i try to log on to WoW I get this message. "You have used up your prepaid time for this account, please purchase more to continue playing". The thing is that my account is already active and I have a payment that is pending. So the thing is: I have payed the money but WoW doesn't think so. how can i fix this? :)

Hi guys,

I ninjaed this thread from the pandas, I hope you don't mind.

Basically the payments over the weekend got 'stuck' while being processed. It means that you cannot cancel them, because they are right in the middle of the process, but haven't come clear yet so the account is pending and not active.

The Billing team have been working on this during the day, and these should be processed shortly.

You do not need to take any action on the account - if the payment was good, it will be processed and you will be able to play again.

If there was a problem with the payment such as lack of funds, it will be refused as you would normally expect. Then you will be able to add a new payment method.

I'm expecting it to be completed this evening. But I couldn't say at what time.

I believe you can add a game card during this process, but can't promise that it's possible. I've not tried it personally.

As I said - the payment was stuck somewhere in the process. I suspect that while payment may have been taken, we haven't actually received it, hence no update of the account status.

I don't actually know if the payment itself has been taken, or been reserved, and no real way to test that at this time.

Apparantly the majority of the payments have now been processed. The rest are being done as we ... write.
