I think it is fairly safe to say that you should not expect to see any major graphical updates before the release of Wrath of the Lich King. It is still a little too early to say if we will get to see a dramatic overhaul of the graphics engine with the release of the expansion, but the developers are constantly improving the textures, models, and animations in the game, which you usually get to see when new dungeons, locations, items and creatures are being released. A full upgrade to the visuals in the game is definitely a possibility for a future expansion, but it is quite possible that this may not be the case for the next expansion, Wrath of the Lich King. |
