Wildhammer - UK Lan Party i31 - London
by Kuuk | 02/06/2007 17:57:38 Nova are trying to organise a Wildhammer community event, on the backing of Multiplay (the UK's largest Lan party organisers). The event is called i31, and will be held at Newbury race course (London(ish) area). Event Details i31 - 1500 places 10 August 2007 till 13 August 2007 Newbury Racecourse - Grandstand www.multiplay.co.uk I have been attending a number of the events now for a good 8 years or so, and i can assure a really good laugh. Its a 4 day event, in a HUGE race course setting, i will arrange for any Wildhammer players to be sat in our own section, and i will even sort out who wants to sit next to who. The weekend is pretty much based towards the over 18's as drunken frollics are always part of the way, but younger people dont be put off as many 15+ year olds are there also. Providing on the response i get here, i will start to make preperations to organise it. Ask you guildies, friends and anybody else you can think of. Anybody comming will be well looked after by our 'hard nut' guild leader "Vaz" (alliance) and myself. I can promise loads of fun over the 4 days, depending on the numbers comming i will arrange BBQ's (weather dependant) oldschool raids (Naxxramas, BWL, AQ40 etc), i will make sure Wildhammer have there own teamspeak server set up with all different channels for guilds/friends. Please note that this is a huge lan event, so LOADS of other games will be played also, you wont just be stuck with WoW as the only option as we will be sat in the Blizzard section (usually the most peaceul at the event). You will have a 100meg internet connection, access to WoW, and i will make it arranged that all the ports of your teamspeak severs are opend on the multiplay firewall. Even if you dont want to get involved in all the community stuff, you can come sit with us all and just play all day/night to you drop. The sleeping arrangements are pretty basic, there is a building for multi-sex sleeping, space for tents.. etc. I personally just sleep in my car. I really hope we can get some players from Wildhammer down there, you will have a great time, and its a good chance to meet some guildies! We even have people comming from Holland for this one! I will push for a stickie and i hope to see you horde/alliance comming! Kuuk :) |
