WHO - OR WHAT - IS "THARFOR"?
by Reynárd | 31/01/2008 03:03:11 As I'm sure you've all noticed by now, Nosleep's brave thread exposing the crimes of the New World Order (Video's everyone should see! :P  ) has been SILENCED by an entity calling itself "Tharfor", who has the unsettling and, frankly, Communist ability to post with his name in blue. At first glance, this would seem to be a routine thread-lock; indeed, one might ask, what possible other motivation could there be? Upon further examination, however, the official story is full of gaping holes. Alert readers will immediately realise that there were also gaping holes in the twin towers on 9/11 - our first clue that there is more to this so-called "thread lock" than meets the eye.Indeed, so full of confidence is "Tharfor" (notice the similarity of his name to the phrase "there four" - the EXACT number of hijacked planes which "there" were on that fateful morning) that he makes little effort to hide his true allegiances. Some subtle hints can be found by carefully examining his post:
Clearly, his impeccable diction indicates that the common language of the internets is alien to him. There were also aliens in the Roswell crash of 1947. Need I go on? But the most chilling evidence is contained within his seemingly innocuous avatar. A simple animation of an adorable dancing panther? Or something more... sinister? The ability to silence a voice which has never been heard, as illustrated by the chosen medium of communication, is in itself a conundrum which provokes some thought. If you consider for a moment that no voices exist on this, a text based forum, the implied silencing through the use of a ‘lock’ is inherently and fundamentally flawed. Also consider that applying such a lock may indeed lead to a cessation of ongoing collective input, but does not in fact eliminate what has already been gathered; a true silencing motion would have attempted to eradicate all forms of evidence that the discussion ever took place.
In implying that the denomination of ‘Tharfor’ may not be the façade of a ‘whom’, but indeed a ‘what’ you have veritably opened a Pandora’s Box of possibilities. If the chosen avatar does not represent a person or even a body of people but an idea in itself, it is the very idea of moderation that is being called into question.
The ability for the so-called entity known as Tharfor to communicate in any language should be commended, rather than simply deriding it for its inability to communicate at an effective level with its’ target audience. In short, it is not the words which were used that should be the focus of attention; but the thoughts and ideas behind those words. However if one is to question the ideas behind the words of the avatar of an idea, one must realize that an idea cannot propagate an idea and as such either the avatar is not used by an idea and is in fact one man, or the words used are complete gibberish spawned by a thought process which bears no merit. I put it to you simply as thus: in this digital age when information cannot truly die we are all immortal in our textual musings. It is the words we use which inspire others to greatness or condemn them to madness. Armed with such weapons as we all are, there must exist some form of governing body so that those who would seek to harm the innocent cannot be allowed to continue unpunished. To protect you from those who seek to subvert and subjugate you, I present to you not a man, not an idea, but a belief: Tharfor – he who stands for what must be done in order to maintain a better way of living. |
