I don't remember exactly which one was the first I played, but I recall Altered Beast (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altered_Beast), and Ghouls 'n' Ghosts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghouls_%27n_Ghosts) being the very first games I ever played on a computer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amstrad_CPC_464).

That along with some games that you could code yourself in BASIC language which name I can't remember in English. (Consisting on bombing with an airplane).

Anyone played text adventures from Infocom (Zork, Enchanter, Sorcerer, ...) ?

Actually I played the Colossal Cave Adventure (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colossal_Cave_Adventure), but it was some time after playing Altered Beast and Ghouls 'n' ghosts

There's no salvation possible.

All you can do is surrender and bow to your new ailen overlords. And you better do it fast, they are NOT friendly.
